My journey as a designer at IBM began with a three month bootcamp where you are fully immersed in complex product design. Weekly presentations, short sprint projects, and design challenges comprised this once in a lifetime opportunity.
One of these projects was to create a new, consumable modular integration service for a highly competitive market. The technology was named Cognos Integration Server, a dated (but powerful) Data Integration server. This project was completed on a team of 5 other Front-End Developers, UX designers, and Offering Managers in the IBM Design Bootcamp.
While it may not be as visually impressive as other projects, the technical domain expertise and understanding of multi-dimensional data migration required was the most rewarding component of this project.
